00:01 All right everybody. Hey, let's go ahead and get started here with the discount appliance opportunity presentation I'm so excited you guys are here that you want to know more about opening up a discount appliance store in your town I'm going to show you how to own and operate a highly profitable person
00:17 scratch and dent discount appliance store in your town so let's make sure everyone is in the right place if you're wondering who this is for this presentation is for anyone who's looking for an executive level income I'm talking about making 100 200 300 whatever the number is right with a very simple
00:39 business okay I joke around this isn't rocket surgery this isn't brain science this isn't some complicated deal it's crazy how simple and easy this business is see the problem out there in America right now is that it's really difficult to earn an executive level income okay in order to do that these
01:00 days you either have to be highly specialized in a field doctor Lord or surgeon whatever or you have to be willing to manage a bunch of people which is always a nightmare if any of you guys out there on the call have ever you know manage a group of people or typically you have to be willing to work 60
01:19 70 80 hours a week and you have absolutely zero quality of life left over so the solution to that the way that you can actually make an executive level income and still have your time freedom is that you need to be in the business this.
01:36 Of high ticket items okay a high ticket item is just something that costs a lot of money right the higher ticket item that you sell typically the more that you make I have this I have this kind of pipe dream that I one day become a private jet salesman.
01:52 We'll see you next week. Where I'm just selling like 50 million dollar jets and I only need to sell one of them in a year and make like a million dollar commission and then you know spend the other 11 months off you know traveling the world with my family and all that kind of stuff but obviously not
02:07 going to happen you want to be selling a high ticket item and number two with the least amount of expenses possible okay so it kind of reminds me of what Elon Musk most recently did or made it popular is that look when he bought Twitter Twitter was kind of an bad shape they had a ton of expenses they
02:27 had way too many assets they had way too many people there who weren't working weren't doing their jobs and Elon Musk in an effort to make Twitter profitable he came in and cut out a bunch of expenses as you know there's two ways to make money number one is earning gross profit and then number two is
02:44 making sure that you don't have a bunch of expenses that eat up that gross profit that leave as much for you as possible and this is exactly what you can do owning a discount appliance store.
02:56 You can be your own boss. You can set your own hours. You can work whenever you want to. You do not have to have any employees, okay?
03:04 This is not a traditional, uh, appliance store. You can do this as a one person show. You can literally earn executive level income.
03:12 You can earn as much as you want to work. Uh, and you're selling high ticket items that turn over quickly.
03:18 It's a, look, it's, it's a boring quote unquote business. It's a mundane business. The money is in the mundane, right?
03:25 Everyone needs a refrigerator. I don't know who can live this day. Okay. Without the ability to keep their food cold in America, right?
03:32 Everyone needs their clothes clean. These are basic things. This is not a fad business. This is not the next coolest thing.
03:38 This isn't, you know, pizza vending machines or I don't know, whatever the fad this day, you know, on Instagram that I.
03:44 That I see is it's a core product. Everybody needs these products and you get to offer them in a unique way.
03:52 Great deal. So your town, you can undercut anyone in town with very, very nice products that are guaranteed with warranty and you can do it all.
04:00 All by yourself. So before we go any further, I hope you're excited. Um, I just wanted to introduce myself for those of you that have not met me.
04:08 My name is Brad zood. I live in Iowa with my beautiful wife Greta. We are Christians and we have a very large family.
04:16 This is a picture of all my kiddos. And, um, I think it's probably as crazy as you do that. We have that many kids, but we love them all.
04:25 And, uh, there is not one that I could live without, but we are a family company. We love helping families.
04:31 Um, you know, dads being able to spend more time with their families, earning a great income, and, uh, just doing great things with that income.
04:39 So let's dive into the discount appliance opportunity and show you how this is all possible. So here's what happens. You've probably never thought of this before, but you know, accidents happen, right?
04:50 Crap happens as they say, uh, in the world. And this is a picture of an appliance warehouse and these are appliances stacked all over the place.
04:57 And you know what? Sometimes accidents happens at the factory, literally where these things are made, right? Okay. No, nobody is above accidents.
05:06 They happen everywhere. And sometimes these appliances get box damage. Okay. I'm not even necessarily talking about damage to the actual unit, the dings, the scratches, you know, that you think about quote unquote when you hear a scratch indent.
05:21 These companies don't even want to ship them out if they have box damage because they're worried about their image and their, the successful brand and the brand image and, you know, what people will think and the presentation to the customer and all those sorts of things.
05:35 So there are very willing to keep the integrity of their brand and not ship out things that have damaged boxes or even got scratched or dented or whatever it is.
05:46 Okay. So they are very willing to not ship those out and sell them. In a different manner that we'll talk about here in a second.
05:54 But let's say that they had a perfect day at the factory, everything got shipped out. Well, guess what? Accidents can happen on the way to big box stores, right?
06:02 Where they're delivering these appliances too. Now in this semi, for example, I'm sure not everything got combined. I'm sure that there are still a lot of good appliances there.
06:12 But again, these big factories, they don't want to take the risk. They don't want to tarnish their image. If a product were to go out and have a big scratch or a dent on it, that kind of thing, they don't want to bring those products to retail.
06:24 But let's say they do. Let's say there's no crash at the warehouse. Let's say that there's no crash on the way.
06:30 Um, but what do we have? We have those products going into yet another warehouse with, you know, primarily what? Teenage employees, right?
06:39 Where accidents can happen. Right? We can get something as small as box damage. Um, we can get something as small as, you know, big scratches and dents or whatever, but they can happen.
06:49 And again, these people want to avoid putting these things out on the shelf as much as possible. But let's say that they make it to Best Buy or Lowe's or Home Depot or wherever they're going.
07:00 And they make it out here. And you know what? Sometimes a shopping cart would hit these. Sometimes a customer would buy one of these and they don't like it and they bring it back or whatever.
07:08 Scratch and dent or quote, unquote defective items can happen. At any level along the customer journey. And you know what?
07:17 Most of the time they all land up in big warehouses all across the country and they contract with the with exclusive people to go ahead and facilitate.
07:29 Stores to be able to offer these things at a discount. Very similar to your outlet stores, right? So you or your spouse have probably shopped at an Under Armour outlet or a Nike outlet or some other type of outlet where these types of products go.
07:44 To where they're still very good and viable useful products that are sold on the market. So they get chipped out here and then you place order for these products and they get delivered.
07:57 So I own and operate my own discount appliance. And you know what, most of the time, uh, about 70% of the time or more, these products come in the wrap.
08:18 Unused, owner's manuals in them, all the cords, all the accessories, everything that you need, um, to have something that looks like an absolutely brand new refrigerator.
08:29 You know, you saw that picture back up here on how they load them. Load them up on the side, so if there is some type of damage or scratches, typically it's on the side of the unit and most of this stuff comes in absolutely fantastic condition.
08:43 There is some times that, um, some of this stuff would come, um, in, you know, with, uh, you know, scratches and dents and big things that you walk up and you go, oh, whoa, you know, there's a scratch or there, there's a dent, but, you know what's so funny is that customers love that stuff the most.
09:00 I mean, it just seems that the more scratched and the more dented that something is, the customer is. Customers love it because that's what they're coming into your store to look at.
09:08 So hey, bring on those dents, baby. Bring on those scratches because customers perceive value when there are those scratches and dents.
09:15 And I love getting that stuff just as much as I love getting this other stuff that is absolutely pristine in the wrapper.
09:23 And it looks great. You literally just kind of fill a simple room full of the inventory. You get washer and dryer sets and all different kinds of stuff and you put that all together and you have a really cool.
09:36 Basic scratch and dent appliance store where you get to offer unused most of the time appliances for a fraction of the cost of what literally they can go down the road for and get anytime anywhere and you can just.
09:52 Obliterate your competition while making a substantial income. Okay, and I know what you're probably thinking like oh, man I need to have some 10,000 square foot building that looks like a million dollars and You know on Main Street and all this kind of stuff.
10:06 Nope. It's simply not true. This is a picture of the outside of my building. And look, it's just a warehouse type building.
10:12 I'm next to a gas station and nothing special at all. And again, it's all about in the charm of knowing that you're a scratch and dent type of a warehouse.
10:23 So let's talk. Talk about these loads for example, okay? So when you buy inventory from us, um, they come by the truck load.
10:30 So, uh, you get it typically about 50 pieces in a truck and they come pre-loaded. So um, you know, you don't necessarily get to pick, hey, I want five fridges this than that.
10:41 You just get to pick typically from several different loads and you'll get to see their makeup and what models are predetermined on those loads.
10:49 And um, you know, they come with an MSRP. So here's, you know, an $81,000 load that typically, again, it's all real-time marketing.
10:56 The market pricing and pricing varies, uh, but typically you can get a load of $81,000 worth of appliances, um, for, you know, $25,000 or less.
11:05 So you're talking about a huge savings on this inventory. So let's do some quick math though. $81,000 of inventory at 50 pieces.
11:15 The average MSRP of an item, let's say, is about $1,600. Okay? Uh, if you pay $25,000 as an estimated cost of that type of a truck, that means you're gonna own each item for around $500 that has an average retail value, MSRP value of $1,600.
11:33 Okay? Uh, so you can start to see where the money might be coming in, cost versus retail on that, and you can earn a substantial income.
11:42 So let's dive deeper down into the requirements of getting access to two loads, um, which is going to be a great, um, size to get you started, um, and go from there.
12:05 You certainly can do bigger. You can choose to be bigger. You can choose to stock however many loads you would like to stock.
12:11 Um, but that's about the minimum that we recommend to get started. Your facility's got to have a valid USPS address and it's got to be semi truck accessible because these things come on a semi truck.
12:22 And when the truck gets there, you have to have a way to unload these appliances. So ideally you're going to have a loading d***, um, that you, that a truck can pull up to.
12:30 Uh, but there are other ways you can buy semi truck ramps. To get those things down on a parking lot.
12:34 You just need to make sure that you have permission from your landlord. If you're renting a spot that a truck can park in the parking lot and you can unload those appliances down off of a ramp.
12:45 Some financial requirements in order to get started. We recommend having a. Minimum of $30,000 in capital and that would be to buy your first load, you know, to pay your first month's rent to start an LLC to get business insurance and to have a few thousand dollars of marketing, you know, at a minimum
13:00 to get your budget started. Typically to get in an appliance. You know, you're talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars to get started with other companies out there.
13:10 And again, our goal is to provide an executive level income as a one man show to great people out there that want to do good things that are great family people.
13:20 Uh, just want to get along in life and, uh, do well and have some extra money in their pockets. So we don't require hundreds of thousands of dollars, um, to get started like other companies do.
13:31 You're also going to get a protected territory, which means we're not going to bring in another discount appliance. Um, in your backyard, um, to help you protect your investment.
13:41 So you're going to have up to a hundred thousand person population protected territory. Okay. And we give you up to 10 miles, um, kind of whatever comes greater.
13:50 So if you're in, you know, um, downtown, you know, Chicago, for example, um, you don't have to travel 10 miles in order to get to a hundred thousand people, right?
13:59 If you're in a smaller town, you probably have to travel 10, 10 miles to get to a hundred thousand people.
14:03 But our goal is to protect you in a territory that gives you a substantial opportunity to earn all. All the income you need with a population that would support it.
14:13 Let's talk about the fees. Okay. There is a territory reservation fee that we'll talk about below, but, uh, there is no percentage of profit fees.
14:21 There's no royalty fees as we're not a franchise. Um, there's no monthly fees. There's no computer system fees. There's no any of that.
14:29 Um, we do not have a business model that makes a bunch of fees off of dealers. Okay. All we require you to do is that you are exclusively purchasing inventory through us.
14:42 That's all we require you to do. Okay. We don't charge you any other fees. All we do is ask that you purchase your inventory from us.
14:49 That keeps us in business. That keeps you in business and we go out and we vet products and we vet inventory.
14:54 And so everything that you know is coming from us is good. That's your requirement of your territory and dealer agreement with us.
15:01 And you keep 100% of the profits. So, uh, when you become a discount appliance dealer, you are going to be in business by yourself.
15:12 For your cash, I screw that up every time you're going to be in business for yourself, but not by yourself.
15:18 Okay. Um, so we are going to be right there with you. We are going to hand walk you into the business.
15:23 Okay. We are going to show you everything you need to know about how to position your store. How to market your store, what type of marketing works, what type doesn't, how to run your ads, all those sorts of things.
15:35 You're going to get access to us as well, whether it's myself or a business coach where you're going to be asked questions.
15:41 You're going to be able to ask questions to as needed. Okay. So you're going to say, Hey, well, you know, how do you do this?
15:48 Or what do you price this at? Or how does this work? How's that work? Okay. We are going to make sure that you succeed.
15:54 It is our goal because we only make money when you order. Okay. Our goal is to make sure that you order.
16:00 Truckloads of appliances from us month after month after month, day after day after day. Okay. And when you're doing that, you're succeeding and we're succeeding.
16:09 So we put both of our interests in alignment together and make sure that we're all pulling in the same goal of just making sure.
16:16 That you continue to order inventory, which means you're selling inventory and making a lot of money. We're going to give you access to payment plan companies that you can choose to sign up with if you want to offer payment plans to your customers, which is a very, very popular item.
16:32 Going to help get you access to warranty companies. You're going to be able to offer warranties, um, with your appliances.
16:40 Okay. So this, this isn't like, oh, you know, some chintzy little 30 day, hope it doesn't break on you. Okay.
16:46 You're going to give your customers the confidence. Is that they can have one year, two year, three year, four year warranties with their appliances.
16:55 If they choose to purchase or upgrade those warranties, uh, and a whole lot more. So that's just kind of a brief overview.
17:02 Now I'm sure you still have some type of questions. Or maybe you're just, man, you're eating this up. You're getting excited.
17:07 Your, your, your energy's pumping and your adrenaline's going. And you're like, man, Brad, I got to do this before someone else in my town claims his territory.
17:15 How do I get started? Okay. Well, let's talk about what it looks like to get started on our 45 day.
17:20 Fast track. Okay. So step one is to fill out the dealer application. There's a link below right there or above wherever it is.

17:51 And, um, get you going as fast as possible. Okay. Uh, we do interviews every single week and we want to get you up and running.
17:59 Um, then we're going to approve your application and then you can pay for your territory. Again, um, territory fees, it's less than a thousand dollars to claim your territory.
18:08 So it's not a big deal. Then, uh, you're going to provide us with a copy of your lease of your property.
18:16 Um, if you own your property, that's you're just one step ahead. So that's fantastic too. You're going to need a tax resale certificate, which is very easy to get.
18:24 Show you how to get that. Um, which just means that you know, when we sell it to you, you are not obligated to pay tax on it.
18:30 The end user, which is your customer is going to be the one to pay tax on it. Um, you're going to need to have an LLC.
18:35 You're going to need to have business insurance. Okay. Just a couple little basic things, um, just to protect you. Uh, that are good common sense business things to have.
18:44 And then you get welcomed into our world. We're going to show you all the online training. We're going to show you how to set up your store, how to do everything.
18:51 Okay. So there's nothing that you're going to have to think through for yourself. Then we're going to place your first order for your first load.

19:19 So fill out the dealer application below, whether you're ready to get started or you want to jump on the phone and ask questions, we're going to make it happen.

19:53 And, uh, you need to claim your territory if you're serious about this before someone else does, because chances are someone else in your town is going to see this.
